How the Irish Food Trail works…
We run our tours on a minimum of 6 people to a maximum of 18 people. Irish Food Trails also welcome larger groups so if you’re in Dublin to celebrate an occasion this is the perfect activity to do! Any lone travelers will be sure to make new friends along the way.
You can choose whether you would like the daily afternoon tour (2pm-5pm) or the evening tour (6pm-9pm) Sunday to Thursday, depending on your plans! If other times are preferred, we can do our best to accommodate you, just get in touch by emailing Info@irishfoodtrail.ie.
Where to Find us…
The meeting point for the tour is the historical Dublin Castle, 1 Palace Street. Your tour will begin with the history of Dublin and Dublin Castle. This gives you a sense of the past of the city you’re about to explore.
We ask that you arrive at Dublin Castle 15 minutes before the time of the tour. The tour will commence on time so we would hate for anyone to miss out!
We run the tour through all weather conditions as the majority of the time is spent indoors. Unfortunately it is a normal day in Ireland if the rain starts to pour. If you come prepared you will have nothing to worry about! In other words, make sure you have a rain jacket, umbrella and for the summer months, sun cream. It’s Ireland so if it’s the sunniest morning it is still very possible that it will lash rain in the afternoon. Don’t let the weather put you off the tour!
